An enjoyable and light fantasy read. Names are kind of hard to keep track of. Supposedly this is "South African" inspired. Not certain how much dragons have featured in traditional South African literature. Interesting world all the same.
Main character goes from being a zero to a hero pretty quickly, using his "hate" to drive his his "training" and become a badass sword master. Not very believable or relatable, but fun. Looking forward to reading second book and hope that the third comes out soon.
