The Killing Lessons by Saul Black

4.0

Not my usual type of read, though I did enjoy this. I think I’d of probably given five stars if it wasn’t for the vulgar descriptions of the serial killers crimes, but that was part of the twisted horror which made the story so intense. Kickass characters, from a determined little girl to the badass cop. I did feel like this was a second book though, and as if the first should have told about what lead up to this- mainly the cops relationship, both with nick, the case that broke her and how she fell into the cycle of drowning out her emotions with drink and random sex with strangers
