Russell, a construction worker, fell in love with Abby the instant he saw her, but she is too good for him and comes from a wealthy family. Abby is desperate to make Russell lose control, and Russell finds it difficult to maintain her at a safe distance.

The fact that Abby and Russell's connection develops over the course of the first two volumes makes their reunion less sudden, which I adore. Of the three couples, they are by far the healthiest. However, they will have to deal with his fears for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, there was a lot of miscommunication in this book, which I don't like.
