The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun
5.0
My heart is just so full after reading this!
I absolutely fell head over heels in love with Dev and Charlie from the start. They’re amazingly, well thought out characters with really interesting backstories and journeys.
This book made me feel all the feelings! I honestly saw a little of myself reflected back at me from both of the mcs. Dev’s “too big heart and too busy brain” and Charlie’s lack of previous sexual attraction really hit home. At times I cried because it was like reading snippets of myself.
There’s so much representation in here too, like not just LGBTQIA+ but also neurodivergence and ethnicities. It just felt really special and I can’t quite put it into words but yeah… The Charm Offensive is one of my favourite reads of the year so far ❤️
