Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut

4.0

This wasn't my favorite Vonnegut book, and it took me a little while to really get into it, but I ended up thinking it was pretty solid by the end. The final reveal

was powerful and probably my favorite part of the whole story. I'll admit that there were parts where I just felt lost and wasn't following the story, but I feel like that happens at least once in just about every Vonnegut book for me (other than Slaughterhouse Five). There were times that I was just 'getting through' the book, by which I mean parts that weren't all that compelling, but to step back and grade Bluebeard as a whole, I felt more rewarded by finishing it at the end.
