Prince's Gambit by C.S. Pacat

I forgot to post a review for this one, because this trilogy feels like one long book to me. It almost needs to be read as if it’s one.

This is where all of the pining and the secrets truly kick into high gear. This is where the brain rot sets in and you starts excusing the slightly dubious elements of this story because the characters and their arcs are just insanely compelling.

Laurent especially - I love that we never get his point of view, you’re always wondering how many other plans he has up his tightly laced sleeves.
