I’ve saw the film so was a bit sceptical about reading the book also, but my other half was reading it so I thought why not.

It was so dark and straight to the point. It really brings home the journey to survival in a barren world. I’d recommend reading the book and watching the film. They are along the same lines obviously, but the book is a lot more stark and hard hitting.

Would recommend.
