This is my first Walter Mosley book. I absolutely adore books that start a movie spinning in your head from the first page and this book did just that. I can see why he's a Grand Master of the Mystery Writers of America. There were so many times where I found myself jumping or my heart racing because of the suspense weaved throughout the book. The complicated relationships of the characters and the way that Mosley blurred the lines between bad and good was masterful. The unexpected twist really made my head spin. I read the book in one sitting because I had to find out what was going on. Definitely a great read!
