The writing was absolutely gorgeous and I got sucked into the book. I would give the atmosphere a 10/10, I felt like I was right there with Daniel, trying to discover the truth of Julián Carax's life. There was a big plot twist at the end, which I did not expect at all and it definitely left me incredulous for quite a bit...
