I wish she would’ve delved more into the relationship with Melanie, it was over before I realised it started and therefore I didn’t care for it as much as I could’ve. This impacted my feelings towards the book a lot.

The writing was at times really nice but I didn’t like the side stories/fairytales :( I’m sure there’s poetry to it but it didn’t work for me.
