Based on the content on the book it probably deserves more than one star, but my g-d this book was impossible to read. Like Carrie, I had to do nothing else and have access to no other entertainment to force myself to read past the first 50 pages. I’ve never read a book this dry or that took more rereads per sentence, and I’ve read the DSM-V. Yet somehow it was simultaneously more hokey and preachy than a white middle class xtian self-help book.
