Joe Haldeman gives his opinion of war as he saw it up close and personal. He uses very interesting characters and science and theory about time and space to put it into a dynamite story. I do not read SF war novels (I used to binge Star Trek, but got over that addiction), but was enticed into reading this one by a review. I'm glad I read it. Excellent read.
