Finally, I read a book by Jo Nesbo! Been intending to get into this series for ages now! I really enjoyed this book.

It was very different from what I expected. I thought this book would be more like the psychological thrillers I read all the time. But the story has a lot more action than I expected. I am not usually into that kind of thing; however, it worked well in this story!

Harry is a pretty fascinating protagonist. He is tortured but I like that he can be petty at times and freely admits to it. I love his dry sense of humor and like that he thinks of himself as old, although he is only in his 30s!!! He is fun to read about! :-)

I am not sure how the other characters play into this series as this is the only "Harry Hole" book I have read. But I like Beate and Halvorsen a lot. Waaler was sufficiently loathsome and I am guessing he will make a reappearance.

I am sorry that I waited so long to get into this series! I better request the next one from the library ASAP! :-)
