Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with the Merry Men & Other Stories by Robert Louis Stevenson
5.0
My rating is based on Jekyll and Hyde which I love more and more each time I read it. When I discovered we were studying at university, I was very excited.
I read half of the other stories but stopped at Thrawn Janet because I just cannot read Scottish dialect. I pushed through The Merry Men (which I enjoyed and would like to reread soon) but I didn't understand the story of Thrawn Janet because I was concentrating so much on trying to figure out what was being said. Will O' The Mill was a nice story but nothing too exciting and I wish Markheim was longer. I may go back to the final three stories another time but right now, I have so many other novels I need to read that I can't linger on something I'm not enjoying.
