The Book of Form and Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki

3.0

firstly i'm really proud of myself for finishing this - it's been a rough and tumble couple of weeks.

secondly, i don't actually know how i feel about this book. the prose and style is lovely - other than that i'm not sure. it's repetitive, and i'm just a bit overwhelmed by the themes it covered. didn't expect the marie kondo fanfiction aspect either.

i'm just a bit empty about this book, i guess, considering it's taken me the better part of 2 weeks to get through and i had to force myself though the last 150 pages. (if anyone has any book recommendations that aren't about dead dads, i'm all ears please.)
