Omg did I fall hard for this book. Apollo and Edith are so freaking cute. Or should I say la princesa and el principe de las tinieblas (whew, my goodness). The friends to lovers trope was so well done. I actually really liked that Apollo admitted his feelings so early on because it gave them the chance to fully develop their relationship. This book was also so emotional and I felt it through each of the characters. I also love how Lasairiona always gives her secondary characters the time to shine. They didn't take over the story but it was nice to see those friendships last throughout the series as well as the siblings relationships. I think the heaviness here was definitely emotional, but there was also a light of lightheartedness and humor throughout the story. My personal favorites are Penelope and Edith's text exchanges as well as PTSB (IKYK). Also the hockey was hockeying and the spice was SPICY. I love these books so much and I'll always be a Lasairiona stan. Thank you to the author for sending me and arc to read and review!
