Honestly I feel that three POVs was overkill for the importance that each one brought to the story. A good chunk of both Martha and Henry's chapters felt pointless overall. I wasn't stoked about their love story either. We didn't get to see enough actually on the page to convince me that, and don't get me started on the amount of times we jumped to a conclusion and made a small issue bigger than it needed to be after just resolving a similar issue by communicating.

Also ew with Opaline and Matthew. Was that subplot needed??! Couldn't she have one platonic relationship with a man?? Especially not one who's married with children. Jesus Mary and Joseph to that.

The ending doesn't really save it, but I suppose it wraps up as satisfying as this story could be for me.
