The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
5.0
This is my second Nicholas Sparks novel.
And with reading this, I fell deeply in love with the character Noah. There's really not much to say other an this is the cute love story that ends with being together with their first love. I enjoyed getting to the end, completely different from the movie, this unexpected turn was worth to be the ending. Left me imagining more than with the movie.
But I don't really want to compare this to the movie, because my reviews are not about comparison. Without spoilers, this book does have a typical love story from 2 different lifestyles, and with disagreements. But it all ties down to true love.
I do recommend this book, mostly to people who have soft spots and love gushy fairytale love stories. A really good simple read, which I come to realize, a lot of Spark's books are well targeted for a simple read and not an over-thought of a book.
