While the concept of haunted Ikea and the book's catalogue inspired layout. was awesome and had potential. The book itself sucked. The MC and supporting characters were all just completely unlikable with no genuine character development. This story is really about a group of shitty people doing stupid things and then a little supernatural horror occuring. The horror doesn't really hit because the characters are unsympathetic and at that point you want something to happen instad their drama. The "horror" is just what happens to the characters, but none is instilled within the reader, making this a total miss.

I'm beginning to think Hendrix just refuses to write likeable female MCs based on what I and other people have said about his works.
