Synopsis
This is the fourth book of the series but it is the start of the second trilogy in the overall series. The characters were briefly introduced in the first trilogy.

FMC Vivienne was in foster care and then forced into The Order, a secret organization for the mega rich to buy and sell women. She is contracted to MMC London St. James, who has two adult twin sons.

Vivienne is a prisoner in London’s home, while he waits for her contract to him to be signed off. Until then, he is essentially not allowed to have any sexual relations with her before the contract goes into effect, otherwise it will be voided and she will be taken from him. He desperately desires her.

There is so much sexual tension and there are still delicious scenes, despite the contract.

Vivienne and the twins all had a traumatic upbringing in different ways, which greatly affects the twins behavior. Although ruthless and savage, the men find softness for Vivienne.

We get more information about The Order and the infamous King. The plot, twists and turns will keep you hooked.

Review
The first trilogy was amazing and the start to this second trilogy is amazing as well. A.K. Rose does not lift her foot from the gas in this book.

The male characters are so complicated, angry, and violent, but there are reasons for that and they end up not at all how they seem at first. There is a lot of growth from their heartbreaking pasts. The care, gentleness and consideration from the characters, despite their traumas, was handled beautifully.

Some themes are similar to Ryth and her brothers from the first trilogy but this trilogy absolutely holds its own.
