As a birder watcher, photographer, and lover its a beautiful book! Amazing illustrations, writing/notes. I would consider it more of a textbook in a way because it would definitely help you higher your "birds seen" list, with many tips and tricks for finding certain birds! The stories inside are also occasionally amusing!
