I loved this book so so much. The only thing is that I ordered the other three but they’ll take a month to come :/ I have not stopped thinking about this book since i finished it (yesterday). The way Ferrante described female friendships was so beautiful and the writing wasn’t overly complex and yet every line seemed to have two meanings. This is especially present early in the book. Because it is written from the perspective of an 8 year old experiencing the world, things are sometimes hidden or made to seem less upsetting than they are and you, as a reader have to put some pieces together (which i loved). This book made me feel so many emotions and I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.
