I received a physical copy of this book for free via Goodreads giveaway. This has not affected my final review. 

Y'all, I'm just not sure I'm a cozy girl.... The baking was cute, but I was very concerned by the lack of concern over a dead guy in your alley. 
I will say, though, I loved the mother/daughter relationship. I thought they were so sweet. And having a Chinese protagonist was very, very fun!
