Excellent sequel!
I loved how it picked up almost exactly where the first one left off. I loved the new problems Citra and Rowan faced in this, and the original enemies gaining allies. Goodard coming back to life was a shocker and was exciting. The trial was a nice touch too.
But when Goodard came back to life, I was also very disappointed. Was the author not creative enough to make a new antagonist. It is my belief that when characters die they should remain dead.
Still, the ending was marvelous and I can't wait to read the third and final book.
