GORGEOUS writing, love the premise (mc develops relationship with her late husband's best friend) & how emotionally impactful it was. i've definitely been struggling to find romances these days that aren't just a collection of tropes, but instead have actual depth, and this book checked alll of those boxes.

honestly, i wasn't the biggest fan of dominic?? he eventually grew on me, but idk, i was never actively rooting for him? sloane was stunning though, i love the strong but vulnerable type of mc <3

it could've been a little shorter too, i think. but overall, a fun time for sure
