I really, really wanted to like Alpha of Thieves. The book started out pretty strong, but really fell apart in the second half. There were TONS of plot holes, the chemistry between Ronan and Serene was nonexistent, and the pacing was really wonky. There was a lot left unanswered at the end. I think this book would’ve really benefited from beta reads, which ideally would’ve caught the inconsistencies and plot holes. The plot itself had a ton of potential, and I enjoyed the twist on Robin Hood. I think with a bit more fleshing out and editing, this could be a great book.
