Not the scariest Stephen King novel but so far definitely the most horrifying. I had no idea what to expect going into this book. In fact, this is the only other Stephen King novel, besides Under The Dome, that I didn’t know what was going to happen or expect. I’m glad that I haven’t seen the movies because the suspense is what truly makes this book. Well, that and everything else.

Plain and simple, it was dark and had a bunch of twists and real characters. I think the fact that the characters felt so real it made me like it so much. I think it might be one of the few books that have made my heart race. I’m not going to spoil it or anything but I will say this: only Stephen King could almost make me have a heart attack over a cat.
