A classic Steinbeck- Beautifully written and developed characters, terrifyingly realistic setting, and a whirlwind of emotions mixed with poverty, injustice, and the economic hardship of the working class in the depression era.
It's a classic, so I won't write much, but I'd not recommend watching the movie right after reading the book. It's been a while since a fictional work has made me this sad. :(
