Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Jack Finney

5.0

Fantastic read and definitely a classic for a reason! Miles, the narrator, is a man who has spent his whole life in the same town and even lives in his childhood home long after his parents have passed away. He knows his town intimately and can quickly tell when the people around him are not who they appear. The story is full of metaphor for the faded charm of small town America being swallowed up by something big, nefarious, and maybe even impossible to escape.
