This was a fitting ending to the trilogy, and yet it lacked important elements. Where was Mamouzia? How could she be so absent from Maria's pregnancy and from the life of Baby David? I wanted a re-examination of the cards Darcourt dealt at the beginning of the story. There were elements of the story that didn't come together.
