If dog neuroscience is your only area of interest, this book is only about 50% that.

The other animal neuroscience chapters were interesting, but the book as a whole doesn't always quite hang together in the way that it would if it were all dog stuff.

I still don't know what it's like to be a dog, but I did learn that rats can experience regret. SCIENCE!
