This was my third time reading this book and I still love it just as much! This was my favorite duology when I was younger so the whole thing just brought back so much nostalgia.

After starting bookstagram, booktube and reading so much and becoming a little more critical I can definitely tell you it's not like the perfect book. The book didn't always flow amazingly and the switch of POVs could be jarring at times as there's not much that signifies it and it happens in the middle of chapters a bit. Also I picked up on maybe a few inconsistencies in the world building/history of the book? I don't know if that was me missing something though. 😂
Other then that I just adored this book. The story itself is absolutely adventures and fun and don't get me started with the idea and world of Story. I was so drawn in when I first read it and was sucked back in this time as well. I just love Una's fiery and stubborn character but also her kindness and curiousity and willingness to help. I always connected with her. Also just seeing her friendship with Peter and we can't forget Sam! I love them all. 😍

I remember loving the sequel even more so I cannot wait to dive in! I would totally recommend this book to any young reader or anyone older who adores MG.
