I love retellings and this has potential but overall a miss for me. I liked the aspect of humanizing Asterion(minotaur) but could've done without the negative/slutshaming/sexist descriptions of the women (even if that is aligned with the original myths). The word choice for the women gave me major ick and brought this down for me.
