A magnificent book. Samira faces a real disgust at her burgeoning understanding of bone and muscle, and begins to come to terms with it. The illustrations show her view of the world, as her friends and family transform into skeleton people: this is a real romp- funny (granddaughters 6 and 4yo laugh as we read it, and I have yet to share it with them without an immediate request for a repeat), gross, yet thoughtful and poignant...
