On the one hand I did end up enjoying this, especially the second half, but on the other hand I don't think it quite knows what it wants to be. It starts off seeming to be a little slice-of-life type thing, and I thought we'd get a focus on each of the residents. But it just zooms in a little more on a few of them. There were also some parts where there was this historical background info sort of thrown in, and that felt a bit out of place to me.
