The Inmost Heart: 800 Years Of Women's Letters by Olga Kenyon

5.0

This fantastic volume contains excerpts of letters from women, organized by theme. As we're told in the introduction, letters should be considered a valid form of literature, and the snippets included support that suggestion. The range of women included is very Western-oriented (my only complaint) but otherwise, this is an enjoyable book to dip into. I'm inspired to try writing my own letters to friends!
