I liked this read. It did take a while because it moved so slow, but I loved the main character. His inner voice is literally exactly like mine and I found him relatable. The ending was abrupt though and I feel like a few plot points weren’t fully resolved, like his dad being key to the story and then dipping…but I guess that is how life works.
