this was super cozy and comfy and all things nice wrapped into a fantastical story that also had a sprinkling of action and a pinch of sadness.
it’s very well done, wonderfully written and one of those story’s that is just a comfort to read.
which might not make a huge amount of sense to anyone that enjoys the softer fantasy stories, but this was as fantastic as everyone says and so utterly deserving of all the hype it got and hopefully will continue to get.
it’s exactly as the tag line of the book promises: high fantasy with low stakes.
i loved how it interwove our worlds things into the fantasy setting and made it make sense.
this was just what i needed and wanted and i loved it!
