I had heard great things about In Five Years but was not prepared for ANY of it. So I sit here, struggling to come up with words to properly review what I have read. I'm speechless you could say, but I will try to put words together one by one until I form something coherent.

Dannie has a plan, a timeline of how she expects her life to play out. How long is the perfect time to date before getting engaged, the perfect time to wed, when she should accomplish everything in her life. Dannie is on track with her timeline and has everything she has planned for, but her plans and timeline are disrupted when she falls asleep and has an all too real dream that she is in bed with someone who is not her fiancé. Five years is what the dream gives her, five years until this dream comes to fruition. As the five years close in, Dannie has begun to dismiss this dream until she meets her best friend's new boyfriend... the man in her dreams.
