I started reading Jane Eyre my freshman year of high school and consistently reread every year or so. It's a story that I grew up with and that I love dearly. That love, I think, is relevant here because I immensely enjoyed this story. I don't ever rate SOLELY on enjoyment, but it was definitely an extra star here on my final rating. That is to say that it is an interesting, pretty well crafted book that I can understand 3-4 star ratings of. My personal investment in the source material and appreciation for the wit and humor Faye uses definitely made this a 5 star rating for me.

I just loved it and will probably venture to reread it anytime after I pick up Jane Eyre.
