Deadheading by Paul Cristo

5.0

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Deadheading is a post-apocalyptic survival story that follows Lewis. He seems like an unlikely candidate for making it through to the end of the world, given that his strategy starts as riding it out with Peanut Butter cups and frozen TV dinners. However, he's smart and learns skills he doesn't possess by gathering information in the libraries that he scavengers. Ultimately not only teaching himself how to survive but also helping others live as well. Behind a creative story with interesting characters is a bit of humor and satire. I found myself chuckling a lot and was hooked on this book immediately.
