Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Amelia Nagoski, Emily Nagoski
3.0
I think this was a nice light read on this topic, written specifically for women. I got to understand a bit more on why burnout happens, how to manage it and how to prevent it. The books is systematically organized and each chapter offers some data, anegdote and a tl;dr section at the end, which makes it convenient to revisit later on for a quick reminder on the key points. It was not deeply scientific, but it made the knowledge quite accessible.
I see a lot of people rated this book one or two stars just because it is "too girly and unprofessional" and too feminist. I guess there's a lot of men and women who just dislike women and they find it to be a good enough reason to hate a book.
