The Last Tale of the Flower Bride by Roshani Chokshi

3.75

This felt like such a dark fairytale which is exactly how it was meant to be taken I believe. Highly recommend listening to this on audio, the bridegroom’s voice is mesmerizing 🤩 Kind of wish he narrated the whole book. Funny thing was I was annoyed the POVs were everyone’s but Indigo who is the main focus of the story…but is she really?? You won’t find any answers until the end.

This was good but there was something missing.. I wish maybe the ending was more fleshed out. It left on such a fairytale note, “and they lived..”. I did like The House of Dreams and how it was a living presence. The setting was very cool. I also liked the mention of
fairies even if I didn’t understand what kind exactly Asher/Indigo turned into 😂🤣
