stuff is slowly starting to uncover! i love how the artstyle differs slightly when it tells from different perspectives, even though i don’t really like the styles sometimes.(like in the journal of the taxidermist). the portrayal of the inuit characters felt kind of weird as they didn’t have much a role beyond being the ones around the white guy which is…interesting. as we learn about the origin of the hybrids we also remember that a white man’s audacity knows no bounds. 

definitely a tense and stressful volume for the characters so i went through through the latter half super fast.
