The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami

5.0

Another Murakami book... JUST AS CREEPY.

Trust me, I LOOOOOVE me some creepy content, and this was oddly satisfying to read (?). Perhaps the vintage illustrations in this version really made me fall for this book (which is the truth), but the way it was written and the flow of the plot really engrossed me! I love the simplicity of Haruki's writing and I love the themes and all the childhood fears personalized and explained as adult-like characters. Really this book did it for me.

The ending really got my mind gears rolling.
