Besides the polyamory-like part between Evelyn, Celia, Harry and John that made me uncomfortable, even if they all agreed to it, it also made sense with the context of the story and the time period.
With seven husbands mentioned in the title, I wasn't expecting Evelyn to be bisexual and have such a lovely and sad story with a woman, but the romance between Evelyn and Celia was so sweet and cruelly tragic.
Harry stole the spotlight as the best character in this story. I was so heartbroken when he died, just as he begun to feel alive again...
It was such a beautiful and tragic story with such an incredible insight on the toxicity of celebrity life and success.
