Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith

5.0

In this third Cormoran Strike Novel, Galbraith presents us with a serial killer and 3 suspects. The story is told alternately between Strike and Robin's perspectives interspersed with a brief chapter told from the perspective of the killer. As you learn more about the thoughts and motivation of the killer (kept anonymous until Strike figures it all out) you find yourself vacillating between the three suspects just as Strike does.

My favorite parts of this book were Robin's inner monologues about her place in the agency. I think it speaks volumes about how women see themselves in the working world, but she also proves herself to be a bad ass while going through her struggles.

I hope there are more Cormoran Strike novels to come. The very last scene certainly leaves it open for a continued story line.
