Reckless Temptations by Janine Infante Bosco

I loved Jack "The Bulldog" Parish's story in Uncontrollable Temptations, so I was more than happy to read more in the Tempted series, even if it wasn't the story I wanted to read (Leather & Lace, baby, Leather & Lace) but I was willing to know more about Riggs, if only because he sounded like a fun guy to know and boy wasn't I glad that I read this one as well?

The story of Riggs and Lauren takes places halfway through Uncontrollable Temptations and halfway later on. Riggs is a fun loving guy who just wants to earn his patch and just start his life as a brother, finally!

Lauren Bianci is a girl who has lost her way - or so thinks. Believing that she would disappoint Mama Bianci if she ever knows that she has quit her nursing residency - she is still wandering around working in a bar - when she stumbles upon Riggs - which was totally not an accident.

I absolutely LOVED how adorable these two were together - they became friends first (mostly cause Riggs was threatened to leave her alone!) but they still continued their banter with each other - and the affection, oh God, that was too adorable even for words.
But what he didn't expect was the madness that Lauren Bianci would throw his way!

This book is lighter in many ways than Uncontrollable Temptations but that's like the lull before the storm (if you ever read author notes, like I do, you would know why!) - but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have it's own share of heartbreak - it does, it really does and I could feel my heart break in a way that I highly doubt even Lethal Temptations would ever heal (which is going to be a dark book in its way *sigh*)

The only issue I did have was the lack of communication on Riggs part - which was maddening to the point of infuriating mostly because you could see Lauren trying her best to actually talk to him - and that really did irritate me, but not to the point that I didn't understand the reasoning behind it.

I still loved this installment - and I can't wait to get my heart broken into tiny little shards with Leather and Lace in [b:Lethal Temptations|29419309|Lethal Temptations (The Tempted Series Book 5)|Janine Infante Bosco|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1457131182s/29419309.jpg|49677973] <3 <3
