Where the hell do I start? This book will stay with me forever.
What’s it about? Stupid, anxious strangers caught in a hostage situation. Or is it?

This was the first book I read by Fredrik Backman, and I’m not going to hesitate to pick up his others.

You slowly and gradually learn about each character throughout the book, and the build up and twist keeps you wanting to move further in the story.

I think I could say in someway or another I can identify with each character. After all, this is a story about people. I can’t say more without giving it all away!

Backman had me giggling, laughing out loud, focused, concerned, crying tears of sadness and joy.

My suggestion, read it.
