I hate them both. She is awful and abusive and he knows it and doesn’t leave or stand up for himself. It’s not a romantic thing for him to stay with her despite her dedication to her career. I think this was the first romance I don’t want to end with a happy ending and wanted her to have to be alone and face the consequences of her actions.
